The Deutsche Kinder und Jugendstiftung (DKJS), advocates for the education and participation of young people in German society. In 2015, turmoil in Syria and surrounding areas caused a significant surge in migration to Germany. Although concerns for adult refugees and families resonated, questions of what to do regarding refugee children entering into Germany without a guardian or immediate family member, rapidly became a top priority.

As part of the “Willkommen bei Freunden - Bündnisse für junge Flüchtlinge” program, Lucid created three separate static infographics, and one interactive, visually explaining the correct procedures to follow when representatives from the government or civil society organisations encounter a refugee minor, with or without a relative, and how they can better ensure such procedures are implemented correctly.
